The Central Supply/Purchasing Department of Rio Grande Hospital is
responsible to ensure that adequate supplies are available to maintain a
high level of patient care and facility management, assure quality of
supplies, on-time delivery of supplies and to obtain reasonable pricing.
The Department is staffed Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Purchasing Clerk is responsible to control the acquisition, receipt
and delivery of supplies (excluding pharmaceuticals, food, laboratory
reagents, radiology and maintenance day-to-day supplies).
