The Surgery Department at Rio Grande Hospital is focused on providing our
patients with personal attention and outstanding care with up-to-date
monitoring and anesthesia equipment.
The Surgery Department offers non-emergency out-patient procedures. We
have an Orthopedic Surgeon on staff and a number of visiting specialty
physicians that offer a variety of services including Gastroenterology,
Urology and Ophthalmology. Our surgical team also includes specialty
trained nurses and anesthesia providers who also hold certifications in
Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
The Surgery Department consists of 1 Operating Room, a 3-bed PACU and
Central Sterile Services.
